Last week while in London, yet again, I was able to finally see Asking Alexandria perform with their new lead singer. As a fan since the beginning this is something I’ve been waiting to experience for quite some time. What would Denis be like? Would Asking Alexandria be the same? I went to the show curious about a lot of things, but honestly I left a bigger fan than I was when I first went in. Denis was well amazing, better than I expected. I of course watched a tone of live videos of him performing so I knew he […]
British alternative band The Cure, is currently touring through North America and I was lucky enough to have the chance to watch them perform live! Ever since I was little I can remember listening to The Cure in the car with my dad so you could say I was pretty excited to hear some of the songs I listened to growing up in person. For three hours they performed hit after hit, and with 35 songs being played they didn’t even have the chance to play some of their best, which not many bands could say. The crowd was just […]
On April 22nd Bring Me The Horizon played one of their most memorable shows to date, and I traveled all the way to London to witness it. The band played the legendary Royal Albert Hall with a full Orchestra, and played songs off of their new album That’s The Spirit, as well as Sempiternal and they played a few classics like It Never Ends. It was truly and incredible show, one of the best I’ve ever been to.watch Despicable Me 3 movie online now
On March 25th Asking Alexandria released their long awaited album The Black. This album has been a long time coming and marked an important art in the bands career because it was the very first album they would released with their brand new lead singer Denis Stoff. Will Asking Alexandria live up to their previous albums? Find out what I think on a full track by track review of The Black.
Australian metal band Parkway Drive came to play at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver in support of their new album IRE. It has been years since the band played here and it was an unforgettable show full of dedicated fans, surprisingly the majority of them actually being from Australia. The setlist was amazing from start to with with the perfect mix of old and new, but the best part was the environment, a crowd full of people smiling, singing (well…more like screaming) at the top of their lungs, having the time of their lives. Parkway Drive absolutely killed it!
All Time Low set off on the Future Hearts Tour in support of their new album Future Hearts, and they stopped in Vancouver for a sold out show. With All Time Low classics, plus some of the best new songs on the album this show was guaranteed to be amazing, and it definitely was. This band always surprises me every time they play a show, they just keep getting better and better. Till next time All Time Low!
Bring Me The Horizon have finally released their long awaited album That’s The Spirit. After weeks of waiting fans finally get to hear the album in full, and it’s completely different from anything we’ve heard from them before. Does That’s The Spirit live up to all the excitement even though its different from the usual BMTH stuff? I review the album track by track and give you guys my honest opinion.
Against Me! paid a visit to Vancouver on their most recent tour, after it being years since the last time they played here, and they played to a sold out show! The room was filled with fans of different ages, but they all come together to watch a band they loved, they danced and they sang which added a lot to an already incredible show. This is the second time I’ve see Against Me! and they sure didn’t disappoint!
In celebration of their album Psychocandy, 80s alternative rock band The Jesus & Mary Chain made a stop in Vancouver to play a group of very dedicated fans.
